Die Stuttgart Surge verstärkt sich auf der Position des Tight End mit einem Spieler mit langjähriger Erfahrung auf höchstem American Football-Niveau: Der gebürtige Berliner Roberto Miranda wechselt für die kommende Saison 2025 von den Arizona Wildcats, die in der NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision in der Pac-12 spielen, zum Team von Head Coach Jordan Neuman.
Der 25-jährige Miranda stand von der Saison 2020 bis 2024 für die Arizona Wildcats auf dem Feld und absolvierte insgesamt 35 Spiele in der höchsten Spielklasse des US-amerikanischen Collegesystems. In den Jahren 2022 und 2023 wurde er aufgrund seiner Leistungen jeweils mit der Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll geehrt.
Der Deutsch-Portugiese fing 2018 bei den Berlin Rebels mit dem Footballspielen an und konnte sich innerhalb kürzester Zeit für den sportlichen Einsatz in den Vereinigten Staaten empfehlen, was für sein großes Talent und seinen enormen Ehrgeiz spricht! „No excuses!“ lautet Mirandas persönliches Motto, was darauf schließen lässt, dass er mit vollem Einsatz und all seinen Erfahrungen und Fähigkeiten, die er sich in den USA angeeignet hat, die Surge zum Erfolg führen wird!

The Stuttgart Surge are strengthening their tight end corps with a player with years of experience at the highest level of American football: Berlin-born Roberto Miranda will join head coach Jordan Neuman's team for the upcoming 2025 season from the Arizona Wildcats, who play in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision in the Pac-12.
The 25-year-old Miranda played for the Arizona Wildcats from the 2020 to 2024 seasons, appearing in a total of 35 games at the highest level of the US college system. He was named to the Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll in 2022 and 2023.
The German-Portuguese started playing American Football with the Berlin Rebels in 2018 and was able to recommend himself to play in the United States in a very short time, which speaks to his great talent and enormous ambition.
